Crews Battle 2-Alarm Fire At Wyman Gordon's In Millbury (Update)

Multiple helped put out a 2-alarm fire at a commercial building in central Massachusetts, authorities said.

Millbury Fire responded to the fire at Wyman Gordon's plant in Millbury, located at 1537 Grafton Road, around 2:48 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, the department said on Facebook.

The fire was quickly upgraded to two alarms and neighboring departments were called in to help, Millbury Fire added.

Crews were said to be battling several explosions inside the building as well. People were being told to avoid the area, including Route 122, as much as possible.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
